this cash malarkey can be a real hoot and also a bit of a bastard. the following is a small 1hr 15min session from last night

Seat 1: dD ( $25 USD ) left with ( $10.06 USD )

all my own fault for being smart and multi-tabling 5 pl08 tables. ran a nut flush into a boat and was real lucky not to lose a full buy-in when he only called my river bet, doh !

Seat 9: dD ( $25 USD ) left with ( $17.84 USD ) one of those annoying tables where most flops were the opposite of my hand and when i did catch it. the opposition had a slightly better hand.

Seat 9: dD ( $25 USD ) left with ( $19.63 USD ) one of those annoying tables ….

so those were the “party” tables …. and our old favourite “stars” ….

Seat 8: ResdentEvil ($15 in chips) left with ($24.95 in chips) …. wow, result !!

Seat 3: ResdentEvil ($15 in chips) left with ($31.10 in chips) …. blimey, double !!

so there you go

torrid time away from the felt, hence the lack of updates. I will try to stop by more often.

btw do NOT 5 table whilst also bidding on ebay with 4 different tabs open so you can watch your final bids being rivered by fukwits who only bid when the clock says 6 seconds remaining …. do i need a faster connection or what, doh !

sorry to keep you waiting so long. lol there has been another britBlogger game as well … got in the money there too donk or what, huh ?? lmfao just looked for the HH and could not figure out where the hell i had put it … then i remembered i played the game down south, meh, so no report for that, damn

so previously … ok the final table … btw thanks for the comments guys … rock ? rock ?? c’est moi ?? always wonder what other people think of my style and play … too damned scared to ask, so i will take the compliment thank-you-very-much

final table started 17.07 and was done by 17.56 so pretty quick. and the first comment … BurnleyMik said, “haha. Bully want to give me the chips now, to save you the hassle and heartache?” my advice, find out which horse mik backed … and pick another !!

three hands in and i get myself in deep …. $hit

with KQ s00ted i min raise from early and get a late caller … mair38 … deep $hit

board read [Th 8h Ad 7h] [7s]

i bet flop turn & river before she folded, complete disaster if she’d called

zagga then got frisky preflop, called by mair38 for his AT v AK with a King on the turn leaving him … err short …. i type gg only to realise he is still in, ooops, ah well you cant see a red face over the net he did push a few hands later, called by mik and his K9 crushes mik’s KJ with a 9 in there somewhere.

then mik reraises bully’s raise and bully calls … mik AQ s00ted is good against K9 off … hmmm obv bully thought mik was at the madam !! and very shortly after that bully is at it again, this time he calls the short push all-in

kronsdat AJ v bully 33 …. no A or J and the wee baby pair is good, 1 down

then short acorn pushes pre with TT … called by Q5 s00ted … hmmm …. Q on the flop and this time it is gg. brave call, wouldn’t have been me thats for sure

i then tried to steal bully’s 200 big blind and he calls and we both check the flop, he bets the turn and i fold … lol fucking pussy !! me, not him. t1200 to him, meh

then veggieman7 raises pre only to be called by mik and surf … oops … then its check the flop check the turn and surflexus tries to steal the river … he re-raises veggie’s river bet … unfortunately he can only raise by 16 chips … veggie calls and QJ v KJ … veggie has the K for a bigger kicker, gg surf

lol then mik and i got it all in pre-flop. i did warn him - ResdentEvil said, “bb special” my AK s00ted too good for his AT off whew, i detest AK btw

which made me chip leader by a good 2500 over bully … which i promptly handed over to him when his A6 hit two pair on the river with the ace on the river and my AQ was mugged !!

dremeber was not so lucky either all-in pre with his 88 v AK s00ted even the 8 on the river was not good enough to defeat bully’s turned flush, ouch.

bubble time baby

Seat 1: ResdentEvil (5481 in chips)
Seat 3: veggieman7 (4061 in chips)
Seat 8: Mair38 (1350 in chips)
Seat 9: Bullmeister (10108 in chips)

and i like to make things difficult. i call mairs push with 89 and run into AJ, oops indeed, giving mair a nice lifeline and lots of chips, fawk me what was i thinking.

i got most of them back with a raise pre-flop, mair called but folded to my flop bet when my AK hit a K on the flop. mair then pushed pre, called by bully and her JJ crushes 9T.

and then the bubble dragged ! bully was quite aggro, accumulating a very nice stack until mair called one of his pre-flop pushes … she has AA … he has 66 … but the 6 turns up and its gg mair. ouch indeed.

very next hand i push with AJ, guess who called ? yes he did and he had TT fawk !! but stars saves me with an ace on the turn, whew. a few hands later i made a pussy ?? play when i raised pre with AQ but folded to bully’s re-raise …

veggie got very short and his all-in was called by both of us … lol i had 25 s00ted … but bully’s Q6 rivered a boat, wow !! leaving the two of us head to head … well, he did have a 3-1 chip lead

played the britBlogger on sunday night. not exactly been a regular attendee, so it was good to join in the fun, again. not sure all the other players would agree …

anyways, my starting table was super tough. and … the special guest, surflexus was sat to my left … fawk me and thank you stars, bastards

interesting game. mostly for my donkitude but the others were kind and didn’t call me to book to often. suppose it could have been worse, surflexus could have been sat on my right. it was of course quite interesting in the chat box …. since i was donking along in a pl08 bingo game .. and typing comments in the wrong chat box, meh !!

ok, hands of note … what do you mean, you cant be fucking bothered ?? ok ok i came second, happy ?

right, ten mins in and surf raises and proudly shows the hammer when all fold. one hand later … he does it again ! oh man, tough game ahead or what. two mins later surf catches a couple of players napping when he hits a set on the turn, ouch. not much happening for me when i picked up AJ and made a loose call for half my stack when stan shoved all-in for 680 and flips over 99 … the obligatory ace on the flop was good for me and stars really rubbed it in when i rivered the straight, gg stan.

that got me to 2k but mr surf was sitting with 3.5k. his aggro style cost him though, getting called by a shortie and then folding to a re-raise and both of us suddenly have exactly 2115 each … weird or what.

mik takes out oenone on a 5JQ flop … mik had the queen, oenone had the jack.

i thought i had mik on the flop when i re-raised his c-bet and he says hmm flush draw .. lets go … and folds !! had u there mate

mair comments -where did u get all those chips ? ha ha not for long … i immediately run into surfs flopped two pair, just managing to barely control the size of the pot by betting every street he collects a nice 725 pot, doh !

mik ” i think surf is his nemesis”

me ” lol we’ll see ”

i was thinking - oh fuck, oh fuck, thats me royally shafted. lol go read his blog, check out the stakes he plays !!

but poker is a funny game. very next hand my AQ v surfs TJ and i’m good for a 950 pot. the board dot real drawey on the turn and paired on the river ffs and my one thought ? shit !! surf v kindly only min bet the river which i was way to much of a woose to push, opting for the cheap call, ready to surrender my chips …

dremeber then doubled to 2600 when his AQ was too much for A4 and surf got real short not long after dropping to t350 or so. and then i had him !!

my AQ v AT and i flop top two … lol he rivers a straight for … t666 chips

then dremeber AK fell to mair’s 88 … lol gg … except drem had three times as many chips as mair !! surf picks up more chips from this here donk when his AK hits top pair on the flop and i dont have sense to fold until his river bet, meh

oh dear, chased my flush to the river, missed but hit top pair taking a nice pot, sorry mair. immediately after that we hit the final table ……

Seat 1: ResdentEvil (3397 in chips)
Seat 2: surflexus (1066 in chips)
Seat 3: veggieman7 (4270 in chips)
Seat 4: Kronsdat (1209 in chips)
Seat 5: zagga (1165 in chips)
Seat 6: dremeber (2380 in chips)
Seat 7: BurnleyMik (1507 in chips)
Seat 8: Mair38 (2150 in chips)
Seat 9: Bullmeister (3856 in chips)

here is a short tale for you ho’dem donkeys. me ? i just need the practice.

this should be good for a laugh, i thought. as part of my whack-a-mole poker experiment i registered for the 10c 360 player mtt on stars. i made the money, getting a 3-1 roi. the fact i got in the money makes me think i played not to badly. the part i want to share is the big stack who could have folded to the final table. he had other ideas and if anyone can shed some light on his 6th level thinking, feel free to enlighten this donk.

when i was moved to his table he had t11,500 and i was on t9k or so. here is how he very cleverly accumulated his stack.

first hand i see, he calls an all in, his 66 busts KK in fine style …. funny thing ? the third guy in the had 77 and hit dbq’s on the turn. the poor guy with kings must have wondered what the hell just happened. so mr-soon-to-be-huge-stack only collects a 9k side pot for his efforts. heeping him at his original t11,5k stack.

then it started …

all in pre, his AJ hits two pair crushing 77 and he doubles to t25k

his J6 loses to QK he drops to t20k

then he blast all in three in a row, gets called by a shortie, he shows T2 hits a deuce and busts the shortie, he now has t30k …. the blinds are only 200/400 and we’re inside the top 60 with 36 gettin paid. time to sit tight ? make the money ?

no way ! next half dozen hands he call pushes from short stacks, loses them all and drops to t20k and then

his T3 crushes AT for a 32k pot, his AJ beaten by KK for for a 17k pot, the blinds go up to 500/1000, i am down to 3.5k and the push fold ninja still has 32k,

then he crushes AK v AQ with his 35 for 47k so so sic. whee he has a 60k stak !! and we are inside the top 50 and he carries on either blasting if there is no raise before him, but he is also calling pushes before him.

then his T8 beats K9 and he hits 75k blinds still 500/1000 funny thing (normal) there was a K and an 8 on the flop, in goes the money, he river the T

he started getting caught when he tried to play he lost 20k of his stack when he bet the flop & turn & called the river holding a Q high flush, the river bet guy had the nut flush, ouch. not much sorrow for the table bully though. very next hand he actually folded to a river bet with his stack almost halved.

very next hand it all goes in on a 4,7,9 rainbow flop ….

he showed JQ off ….. hmmmm way beyond me

his opponent 89 off …. not surprised he bet his top pair

is it just me ? he went from a 69k stack to out, before the money, ((more or less bubble boy, inside the top 40 with 36 getting payed)) in three consecutive hands, the blinds were 600/1200 when he went and i had only 2k left ?? surely that is not the way to play a big stack ?

me ? i lasted to the 19-27 payouts, 24th actually !!

short-stack-ninja baby

as you all know, we, as in rTr, hit the APAT meet in Blackpool for some live gig. what can i say ? excellent weekend, thanks to the others, of course ! and nice bunch you all are too !

congrats to mair !! and the rest of the peeps who got us some points, bagging second place in the team event, w00t !

hammerheid met me at Blackpool Station and we walked back to the digs, showered and refreshed we all headed for the casino. very nice place with an excellent cardroom. not a window in sight … not a clock in sight … you only got a sense of the time you lost if you popped out to the smoking cage … to find out it was pitch black !!

i knew mair was going to have a fine weekend, when the three of us played a £10 stt with a few of the locals, all quite young too. she was short of chips and pushed on the flop i think ? the board was something ridiculous like 679TJ …. young guy next to act either shoved or put in a big bet … his mate, sat on mair’s right then hums and haws … he eventually folds, shows 77, lmfao, he folds the set … mair shows two pair … and the fucking numpty who pushed his mate off the set … he shows K4 …. thats correct, he has sweet fuck all … wow !!

lol mair then went on to win it and very kindly gave me my by-in back, thanks mair

the APAT event kicked off saturday about 3 o’clock. befitting my status, i was chucked out to table 20. my inexperience showed, i’m afraid, with an APAT guy sat on my left who refused to let me see a cheap flop, and i played way to tight. of course on the odd occaision i picked up a hand, the rest folded, meh !

had i not played it so tight, i would have made an early exit. any time i saw a flop or folded any sort of hand to a raise, i 100% missed every single flop, thats my story and i am sticking to it. so i hung on until there were 7 or 8 tables left and then i got moved and unfortunately Lou arrived at my table shortly thereafter.

that proved to be my undoing. i was seat one or was it two ? Lou was five i think and when one player got busted Lou’s bb was my button. and we were both short, fuck.

i did double at that table when my AA was good on a 233 flop, me and a bigger stack got it in and i reached a huge 15k chips … lol rising blinds soon put paid to that, and i could have shoved on Lou’s bb but i restrained myself …. and my exit hand ?

an early position shortish stack pushed and i find JJ …. sorry, but the chips were going in … he tabled A-rag … and of course the A arrived on the river, where else !! out i go just inside the top 70 … as you know Lou then proceeded to play a fantastic game and hung in there to take 10th place, go girl … if my JJ had held … who knows ….

after that it all got a bit blurry

what can i say though, mair played a blinder ! and deservedly took 1st place, wow !

no pressure, hon, but we expect you to make it big in the GUKPT event

i get what i deserve, shafted. they both have flushes and they both have lows, oops.
