when we got to heads up in this little 18-man pl08 tourney, my opponent already had first place wrapped up … or did he ?

sigh, i was willing to see a cheap flop but he had other ideas. well, if you are going to push in a game of hi-lo, surely you need more than a big pair to go to war with ? the amount of people i see push with only a hi hand, well, tut tut indeed.

that gave him something to think about, we saw a cheap flop and he folded to my shove on the flop.
Seat 6: ResdentEvil (10481 in chips)
Seat 8: reepher420 (16519 in chips)
i then folded pre-flop with 2,6,8,T rainbow. well if i hit a low i am not going to beat much with that and hitting a high ? no thanks.
Seat 6: ResdentEvil (9806 in chips)
Seat 8: reepher420 (17194 in chips)
next hand he raised pre-flop, i call and the flop comes down with two 5’s … we both have a 5 and we both have an A for a kicker
split pot !
very next hand it all goes in pre-flop and on this board
[Kc 6d 5h 5c] [Js]
reepher420: shows [3c Ks 2h Th]
ResdentEvil: shows [2s Kd Jd 5s]
i was luckier than he was. i was quite happy to put it all in, outs to both low and high and double sooted. so within 3 hands he is not in too good shape.
the very next hand he decides to get all aggro pre-flop, so who was i to argue ?

personally i would have seen a cheap flop with his cards. perhaps the title should have been “how to beat your opponent in 6 hands when he has a 5 to 1 chip lead” … if i had thrown that lead away, i would be pig sick. then again, i would not be pushing with the hands he had.
then again, what do i know ?
You really ARE craaaaaaaaaaaaaaazy!!! LOL. Nice posting of the omahahahahaha HH’s mate. The four of a kind and low was pretty damned sweet!!
QUOTE…..then again, what do i know ?

If I understood the first thing about Omaha 8HiLo (or could even spell it) I’m sure I’d come up with some sound hand analysis…not…
Nicely done to take it down, but come on…you’re making my posting rate seem prolific!
