League Game 8 - BurnleyMik keeps the hopes alive!

With an extremely poor turn-out of only 4 players, fixture 8 of RTR league on Virgin Poker, kicked off. Kenn was sat out early due to some kind of disconnection and the other three played on. As can be expected the game was very nip and tuck with no player giving very much away.

Eventually kenn re-connected and as usual with Kenn, things got a little more spiced up! Kenn eventually busted losing a race vs BurnleyMik with his KQ vs 88 and he exited the game in 4th spot.

Mair left the felt in 3rd place after at least two excellently timed comebacks only to shove into BurnleyMik’s set of Aces.

The HU battle was always going to be tough for kronsdat, the ever consistent, with a big chip defecit, but the play went back and forth for a little and it eventually all went in with Ax vs BM’s JJ.

As you can see there was very very little change right at the top except Mair closed the gap a little on kenn in 2nd spot. BurnleyMik managed to jump into 3rd spot and give himself a small hope for a comeback and his jump means Hammerheid slips back into 5th spot for now!

So, with the penultimate game looming what is gonna happen at the top becuase in all honesty it still looks very open between the top 3! Who is going to be playing for a place in the 2008 WSOP, with the best package on the net through Virgin poker????

Well, the next two weeks will be the decider!

RTR Satellites to the FTOPS.

A few of the guys over at the forum have goten together to create 3 Private satellite games for the raise the river forum members. These three satellites will run Sunday evening, Tuesday evening and Thursday evening of next week. In each individual satellite anyone who cashes will ship the money won into a combined prizepool held by one of the admin team at RTR. At the end of the three satellites there will be a final game for the winner of each satellite. In this final game there will be one winner who will take the full prize pool generated to play in the FTOPS event of their choice. The runner up and the third placed finisher will get a share of the winners action in the FTOPS event, in exactly the same way as the current RTR sats are now run.
