What is Rakeback??

Rake?? Well firstly you need to understand the word “rake”. “Rake” is how a poker site makes its money. Basically, whenever you are playing poker at a cash table, the house (or the poker site) makes its money by taking a percentage of each pot played for. This is usually up to a maximum of 5% or often a top limit of $3 per pot. Another way you pay “rake” may be if you enter a tournament that has a buy in of something like $10 +$1. The 6th game of 10 in the RTR premier pleague of poker, was played out last night. 8 players took to the virtual felt to battle it out, including league leader Kronsdat. First player to hit the rail was BurnleyMik when his flopped two pair ran straight into the mighty Mair’s flopped broadway straight! After shooting his bolt too soon the next player to be eliminated was G3lboy (Lukybugur). His early aggression and chip lead didn’t hold and the brave Scot was busted out in 7th.
