Win a trip to play Poker in Paris!

Hey guys,

We are putting a package together for at least one, possibly two members of RTR to win a trips to the Aviation Club De France, Paris

The event is on Saturday 12th September, is a 1 day NLHE deepstacks event and has a €250 buy-in. There will be a second night thrown in for you to enjoy the delights of Paris!

RTR will buy you in and organise your buy-in, travel and accomodation for the event!

We will basically run it over two months (July and August), hoping to have 1 winner each month. So hopefully there will be two of you travelling. Your accomodation will be booked for the night of Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th September or Saturday 12th and Friday 11th. The winner can decide.

Any left over monies will be split between 2nd and 3rd place with a 70/30 split.

The Details

There will be 2 monthly leagues - One in July and One in August.

League one (July):

Initial $30 entry fee. There will then be a tourney on 5th, 12th,19th 26th July, Sunday evenings at 8.30pm GMT. Each game will be a $10 buy in, with ALL monies won to be shipped to the event organiser, to be added to the total prize pool.

Each player will be awarded points, according to the money they would have won in that event. At the end of the month, the person with the most points will be going to Paris*

League two (August)

A second chance! Exactly the same as July event, but for the sundays in August.

* this is subject to the prizepool requirements being hit. We think we can send one player per £550 in the prize pool.

If we are successful with this, the we can do the same sort of thing and send some peeps to Holland for the masters of Poker!!!! So come on and join in!

This is what RTR needs!!! Monthly leagues with decent prizes. The long term plan is to send at least 2 RTR fish every 2 months to a decent all expenses paid tourn somewhere in Europe starting with this deepstack event in Paris followed by an event at the Dutch Masters in November. Hopefully this will create a buzz amongst all RTR fishays alongside another possible league once a month to send at least one of us to the WSOP 2010!!!

C'est une idée excellente et juste dont le Forum a besoin. J'espère jouer dans les deux événements et j'aimerais bousiller ce poisson 'Amatay' dans tous les deux. Il suce des boules!! :lol:

Erm yeah what Snake said!! lol . . . It is a good idea and good opp for people that normally wouldn't go to these events to get some good exp!!

GUKPT? Finals are xmas aren't they?

This is an excellent idea, and just what the Forum need. I will play in both events and I will bust this fish 'Amatay' in both. He sucks balls

fantastic idea.... What site would it be on as I'm only playing on Ipoker at the minute. Would be a learning curve for me if nothing else... Although i can just about remember my A level French. ...... Speaking of which, who translated for Snake_eyes then??? own up! :?:

Prob Stars mate. I know most of us run like shizz on Stars (except EY) but its just easier tbh

wicked idea, I'm defo in. Not wanting to change the format but should it be best 4 finishes from 5 that count ? so if you cant play one, you don miss out.

Only 4 tourns a month mate, not five.

Sounds a good idea, my poker nights are on Sunday nights with the lads but I should get them to play another night so they can feed my bankroll

forgot about this actually, it's the coming Sunday start isn't it??

Should be updating my pathetic blog this week so will give it a big up, it's a quality idea if we get the numbers, how many per week will create the two packages do you think?
